	ENQUIRY GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

A	The following GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS relating to our enquiry shall become integral part of the BID document / Enquiry document.
B	In case of conflicting nature of the GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS with regard to the BID TERMS AND CONDITIONS, the later would override
1.	PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AS PER THE RFQ.
2.	Quotations must be free from corrections and erasures. In case of correction / erasures, the same should be duly authenticated.
3.	The quotations should indicate the validity period as required by our Enquiry / Bid. When the order is placed within the validity period TPL reserve the right as it deems fit, in case the supplier fails to effect supplies as per the terms of the order / enquiry / Bid and without Prejudice to the other rights and remedies.
4.	All prices quoted must be firm till completion of order and no revision in the prices quoted will be allowed afterwards.
5.	Unless otherwise specifically indicated, the prices quoted are inclusive of excise duty, sales tax, other taxes and delivery charges.
6.	If Excise Duty is applicable, please quote with chapter heading & rate.
7.	If you are SSI, Please furnish SSI No. and validity date.
8.	If you are SSI, Please furnish the rate of Excise duty applicable for your turnover also indicated your current turnover and rate of duty applicable.
9.	A programme of supply of items should be sent along with the Quotations, if the items are not available ex-stock.
10.	QUOTATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED TIME AND DATE WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED under normal circumstances.
11.	We reserve ourselves unfettered right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof or only to buy a part of the materials for which quotations are invited.
12.	The order if awarded will be subject to our general purchase conditions.
13.	Printed conditions on back / annexure of letters originating from tenders will be ignored: If it is desired to apply any particular conditions to the tender, same must be clearly brought out in the body of the tender.
14.	If offered ex-stock, you should inform us before selling them to other parties.
15.	While sending your offer please send samples if specifically requested failing which your offer may not be considered.
16.	While quoting, always state manufacturer’s name and brand failing which your offer may not be considered.
17.	All CORRESPONDENCE AND QUOTATIONS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO: Head (Procurement & Logistics) TAMILNADU PETROPRODUCTS LTD., Manali Express Highway, Manali, Chennai – 600068.
18.	In the event of failure to accept the PO after submission of Bids (or) delay in submission of cost breakdown as required by the Enquiry / RFQ, TPL would have the option to source elsewhere. Any increase in cost incurred would be borne by the Supplier.

	Special Notes:

19.	Your Total price (Extended price) should be for FREE ON ROAD, TPL MANALI SITE only.
20.	You have to quote for all items based on which your extended price is arrived at by you.
21.	You have to submit your bid through online as well as by fax alongwith bidder agreement.
22.	Inspection by Third party inspection agency nominated by TPL. Third party inspection charges shall be borne by TPL at actuals. Hence, it need not be considered while giving your offer.
